the Aircraft was launched in 1934 and had many modifications. After each modification, the speed, ceiling and armament capacity of the aircraft constantly increased. In 1935 it was demonstrated at the world exhibition in Milan, where it received worldwide recognition. In the mid-30-ies was not, perhaps, a fighter that would enjoy such wide popularity in aviation circles as the I-16, designed by a team headed by N. N. Polikarpov.
