the Prototype is interesting in itself, because for the aircraft of the second half of the 50s had very high flight characteristics for that time: with a take-off weight of 9220 kg, it accelerated to a speed of 1960 km/h and climbed to a height of 18 thousand meters, and a height of 15 thousand meters the fighter gained Index "U" denoted the work of the interceptor in the system "Hurricane-1", which was intended for automated flight control and shooting. The system "Hurricane-1" allowed to detect targets at a distance of about 17 km, automatically accompany them and open fire when approaching to a certain distance. But because of not brought to mind the engine VC-3 aircraft was more on the ground than took part in flight tests. And as a result, in 1958, work on the aircraft were discontinued.
