su-7IG (S-22I). Experienced aircraft, built on the basis of fighter-bomber su-7BM. The machine is equipped with a variable sweep wing, consisting of a fixed part, docked to the fuselage, and movable, with the possibility of changing the sweep angle along the leading edge from 30° to 63°. August 2, 1966 B. C. Ilyushin for the first time lifted the car into the air, and on 9 July 1967, it is under the management of E. K. Kukushev were demonstrated at the parade in Domodedovo. Despite the increased weight, the installation of a variable sweep wing allowed to improve the takeoff and landing characteristics of the aircraft.
