Fighter-interceptors MiG-19PM, as well as special high-altitude MiG-19SV, had too low practical ceiling, for the set of which required considerable skill. None of the experienced interceptors OKB A. I. Mikoyan, P. 0. Sukhoi and S. A. Lavochkin were still not put into mass production. However, work in this direction continued.
