After the Bf 109, the Fw 190 was the second standard Luftwaffe fighter. The aircraft was very durable, and effective in performing a variety of tasks. Fighter-bomber Fw190 F-8 produced in large quantities since the beginning of 1944. The "F" series was developed in 1943 specifically for ground attacks. The bomb load of 700 kg could be suspended on five points. The aircraft was strengthened fuselage and wings in the area of the main chassis, the rest of the F-8 did not differ from the fighter version of the A-8. Already after the start of mass production began to install a new wooden screw and a new form of glazing with frontal armor. Since the beginning of 1944, more than 6,500 Fw190 A-8 and F-8s have been delivered.
