Additional Information
designed by Messerschmitt and Lusser in 1934, the Bf 109 fighter was one of the first truly modern aircraft of the era. Features such as the liquid-cooled V-12 engine made the Bf 109 more practical compared to the First world war. A powerful engine with superchargers and the ability to install additional guns, missiles, bombs or fuel tanks, turned the fighter into a universal fighter.
