the Prototype of the two-seater version was ready in November 1942. After successful tests, it was adopted as a type O training fighter ("Rey-Shiki Renzen), or A6M2-K model 11. Serial production at the 21st Arsenal lasted from January 1943 to October 1944, a total of 236 aircraft were produced. In early 1944, the order for the production of 665 copies of the improved version of the A6M2-K model 21 was received by Hitachi.
