the Revolutionary Me-262 was the first jet fighter used in combat. The design of the pre-production Me262 A-0 began in April 1944. The release of the Me262 A-1a fighter began in November 1944, the aircraft was armed with four 30mm guns. Later versions were equipped with 24 r4m missiles, making the Me262 the most dangerous enemy of allied aircraft.
