Additional Information
Blitzkrieg (lightning war) was a term for a new form of armed confrontation that Germany used against poorly prepared opponents at the beginning of world war II. At its core, Blitzkrieg involves the joint use of infantry, armored units, artillery and air forces. The effective combination of these troops allowed Germany to quickly break through the enemy's defense lines. Germany's innovative strategy was first introduced during the 1939 invasion of Poland and was frighteningly effective, a tactic that was later repeated in France in 1940. This set from the company Dragon will recreate the scene of the early stages of world war II.
