the T-26 was a Soviet light infantry tank used in many conflicts in the 1930s, as well as at the beginning of world war II. The tank was based on the British Vickers 6-Ton, one of the most successful tanks of the thirties. More than 11,000 vehicles were produced, more than any tank of this period. In the thirties, the USSR developed 53 variants of the T-26, including combat vehicles on its chassis. 23 of them were produced EN masse. T-26 was used in the armies of Spain, China and Turkey.
