The car was designed to be launched into the sea, from a landing craft 10 or more kilometers offshore. A distinctive feature of the series are hydraulic flaps that allow the car to go faster. Using its speed and the raised front part of the body , the hydrodynamic resistance on the vehicle is significantly reduced.
