GMC CCKW - 2.5 ton truck 6x6 us army. It was used during the Second world war and the Korean war. He was known by the nicknames "Two and a half" or "Jimmy." The CCKW was available in different versions, with closed or open cab, long (LWB 353) or short (SWB 352) wheelbase. Initially, all versions were made with a closed cabin (had a metal roof and doors) and an iron body. But during the war, there was a version with "half doors", a canvas top and wooden body. Soon revealed the shortcomings of the new design and completely wooden body was replaced by a "composite" with a steel frame and parts.
