the BA-3 was a cannon armored car developed in the Soviet Union in 1933, a slightly modified model of the BA-6 howl released in 1936. Both designs were based on the BA-1, the most significant difference was the tank tower, the same that was installed on the T-26 and BT-5, weapons also did not differ from the tank - 45-mm gun and machine gun Degtyarev. Until the end of production in 1935 was built about 180 BA-3. Most of the BA-3 was made on a three-axle chassis "Ford-Timken" a Significant drawback of the BA-3 was mobility, because of the large weight limited roads, or hard enough ground.
