T-37A was a Soviet amphibious light tank. The tank was created in 1932 on the basis of the British tankette Vickers. The t-37A was the first serial amphibious tank in the world. The red army used the tank for communication, reconnaissance, protection of troops on the March and direct support of infantry on the battlefield. The t-37A was widely used during the Soviet invasion of Poland and Finland. Tanks were used at the beginning of the great Patriotic war, but were mostly quickly lost, the survivors fought until 1944 as training and support was used until the end of the war.
