Additional Information
the Soviet T-28 was one of the world's first medium tanks. The prototype was developed in 1931, and production began in late 1932. It was a tank to support infantry and was intended to break through fortified defenses. The t-28 was developed in addition to the heavier t-35 tank with which it shares many components. The tank did not have much success in combat, but it played an important role as a development project for Soviet designers. A number of new ideas and solutions were tested on the T-28 and then incorporated into future models.
