the An-26 Aircraft was created by Antonov's design Bureau in the second half of the 1960s. the An-26 was a cargo version of the popular an-24 passenger aircraft equipped with a rear ramp.
In the early 2000s, as a replacement for the rapidly decommissioning older An-24, the An-26-100 program was developed, which includes the conversion of an-26 cargo aircraft into passenger aircraft by installing seats and reconstructing the cabin. Currently, the An-26-100 is operated by a number of regional airlines in Russia.
