Boeing 707 - Intercontinental passenger aircraft. The first flight of the prototype in July 1954 Boeing 707-121 became one of the most successful passenger jets of the first generation. In total, 917 aircraft of various modifications were produced. Commercial operation began in 1958 and continues to this day. The Boeing 707 was used as a transport aircraft, and in a modified version as a tanker and scout. In addition, it was based on the aircraft system of long-range radar detection E-3.
