the Tornado GR.Mk.4 - shock tactical fighter, developed by British company British Aerospace on the basis of tactical fighter Tornado GR.Mk.1. The plane is created by ordering the RAF to replace its fleet of Jaguar strike fighter and the Tornado GR.Mk.1. It is also foreseen to 2002 to upgrade 142 Tornado fighter GR.Mk.1 to standard GR.Mk.4. The modernization program involves the installation of new engines, modern Botovo radio and electronic equipment, including a container with a laser pointer of type TIALD (Thermal Imaging Laser Designator) of the company GEC-Marconi designed for Autonomous control of the weapons with laser guidance system.
