Additional Information

In the mid-60s of the last century, residents of American megacities have repeatedly appealed to the city administration with complaints about strange phenomena occurring in the sky. In a completely cloudless weather in the sky suddenly there was thunder and rapidly subsiding, disappeared without a trace.

Time passed. Mysterious thunder continued to periodically scare ordinary Americans. Finally, on July 10, 1967, after individual complaints escalated into mass discontent, the US air force made an official statement, which reported that a strange thunder appears as a result of flights of supersonic strategic intelligence Lockheed SR -71.
the Continuation of this story was a few dozen lawsuits of American citizens, in which they demanded that the air force compensate for the damage caused during the flights. The amount that the military had to pay by court order, amounted to 35 thousand dollars, however, in the thirty-year history of the fastest and one of the most expensive in the operation of the military aircraft SR -71 - a small drop in the sea of victories and defeats.

the First flight of the "Blackbird" or "Black bird", as the us military nicknamed SR -71 for its appearance, took place on December 22, 1964. The new supersonic scouts were intended for use by the US air force, which at that time did not have a worthy rival to the supersonic intelligence of the new generation A -12, which was in service with the CIA.
