Vought F4U-1A Corsair — single deck fighter during the Second world war. Designed and built by Chance Vought. It is considered one of the best fighters of the US Navy in that war. He was afraid the Japanese are against it, so called the plane "Whistling death." The corsairs fought from 1943 to 1945.
