JU 52 nicknamed "Aunt Yu" or "Iron Annie" for its strength, had a long and heroic career in Germany and other countries. The Ju52 was Germany's main transport aircraft during the entire Second world war. Widely supplied marine version equipped with a float chassis, the aircraft played an important role in the Norwegian campaign and the Mediterranean. The most important head of the combat career of the marine version of Ju52 without a doubt is the operation on the island of Crete.
