This helicopter was designed for the US army to replace the OH-58 and Cobra AH-1. RAH-66 has a low visibility fuselage (stealth) – a technology considered especially important after the Gulf war of 1991. The helicopter is made of special materials to reduce visibility, Comanche is equipped with a sophisticated navigation system for flights in difficult weather conditions and at night.
