Ju 87 modification B was the first commercially produced version of this famous machine. Six pre-production Ju87 B-0s are made from the frame Ju 87 A. Test flights began in the summer of 1937. A small number of at least three aircraft have been converted into modifications C and E for potential operation as deck. The first production version was the Ju 87 B-1, had a much larger engine Jumo 211D, completely redesigned fuselage and chassis. The new design was again tested in Spain and after the capabilities the output increased to 60 per month. As a result, at the beginning of the war, the Luftwaffe had 336 Ju 87. Ju 87 is also known as the "Jericho trumpet" because of the special sirens. Attacks additionally intimidated the enemy, but the plane lost 20 - 25 km/h, which is why the sirens were replaced by a special whistle on the bomb, and later were not used at all.
