Ju 87 R - modification of Ju87 B with increased flight radius. It was developed as an anti-submarine aircraft. The Ju 87 R inherited the Ju 87 B frame by adding two drop-off fuel tanks. The modification increased the fuel capacity to 1,080 liters. The increased weight is not allowed to keep the bomb load, it was reduced to 250 kg. Latest Ju 87 R came in October 1941, it was built in 972 aircraft.
