EA-18G Growler (Grumbler) is a modification of F/A-18F for electronic warfare. The flight characteristics of the aircraft is close to F/A-18E/F, this feature allows the EA-18G to conduct escort radio suppression, as well as conventional tasks for electronic warfare. Growler is able to support the F/A-18 in all phases of the assault operation. The Growler is more than 90% similar to the Super Hornet, but the growler uses the internal space for the 20mm cannon and the external pylons to accommodate special equipment. The complete set of the plane allows to find and successfully suppress all types of threats known today.
