JH-7, also known under the export name FBC (Fighter Bomber China)-1 Flying Leopard (Chinese fighter-bomber flying leopard). The aircraft was created to replace the Chinese copies of the Il-28 and MiG-19. Developed by Xian Aircraft Industry Corp. The plane debuted on October 1, 1999, at the parade in Beijing dedicated to the 50th anniversary of China. The air force ordered 20 aircraft. In 2002, the company completed the development of an improved version of the JH-7A. According to 2012 year, the PRC is armed with 122 aircraft of this type.
