British Mk.V was an improved version of Mk.IV. The new modification retained the unique diamond shape of the Mark series, and became the last mass-produced version. The tank had a length of 8.05 m, a width of 3.91 m and a weight of 29 tons. The tank was driven by a 6-cylinder Ricardo engine with a capacity of 150 HP and could move for 10 hours. Mk.V (male) was equipped with two 57mm rapid-fire guns and four Hotchkiss Mk machine guns.I. the Tank was first used during the Battle of Hamel in 1918, playing an important role in the offensive of Australian troops on the German lines.
