Leopard 1 A5 is the main battle tank developed in Germany in the 1970s for the West German army. The tank first entered service in 1979. Such tanks served in the armed forces of Germany and 12 other European countries. Leopard 1 A5 was used in Kosovo and participated in military operations in Afghanistan.
