Einheitsdiesel was built from 1937 to 1940, the Vehicle was technically perfect, durable and reliable. Because of its complex chassis design (with six wheels and individual suspension of all wheels), the unified Einheitsdiesel had remarkable off-road terrain, and was thus very popular among the troops. One drawback was the low load limit of 2,375 kg, compared to a net weight of 4,925 kg. the Einheitsdiesel was widely used by the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe in almost all hostilities as a standard truck, radio van, field kitchen and many other versions.
