Canadian Pattern - was a class of military truck - of various shapes - made in large numbers in Canada during world war II to British army specifications for use in the army of British Commonwealth allies. Most of the CMP trucks were manufactured by Chevrolet's General Motors division in Canada and Ford Motor Company in Canada. Just over 500,000 CMP trucks were manufactured in Canada, accounting for approximately two-thirds of the 815,729 military vehicles produced in Canada during world war II.
