KV-5 (object 225, sometimes also mistakenly called the KV-6) is a project of the Soviet three-turret super-heavy breakthrough tank of WWII. Work on heavy tanks KV-5 were conducted at the Leningrad Kirov plant. The tank had a maximum for that time, the thickness of the armor. For the KV-5 tank, a technical project was made and the production of a number of units and assemblies began. Since the beginning of the war, the project had to make a number of changes.
