Panzerkampfwagen 38 was originally a Czech tank before world war I. After Czechoslovakia was handed to Germany, it was adopted by the German army, participated in the attack on Poland, France and Russia. Production ended in 1942 when its armament was deemed insufficient. Overall, it was made more than 1400 tanks. The special vehicle designation for the tank in Germany Sd. Kfz. 140.
