the Marder Series was designed to enhance the mobility of anti-tank artillery by mounting it on a variety of self-propelled chassis. The tank is equipped with a 75 mm Pak 40 gun. After testing the prototype machine was put into service under the designation 7,5 cm Pak 40/1 auf Geschutzwagen Lorraine Schlepper(f) Sd.Kfz. 135, and the order for its production was tripled (from 50 to 150 PCs.). During 1942 the Alfred Becker firm (where transferred serial production) made 170 fighting vehicles of this type which were applied by Germans on the Western front and in Belarus.Caution!
