ZBD-04A Chinese amphibious infantry fighting vehicle. By its design and armament system, the new Chinese combat vehicle inherits the Russian development of the BMP-3.
BMP-3 Technologies were used in the development of the first modifications of the new Chinese infantry fighting vehicle ,which initially received zbd 97 or Type 97 indices.
Now fighting vehicle ZBD-04A has an upgraded weapon system and the system of protection of the crew. Reservation housing was greatly improved after the first firing tests and a series of car went with the new design of the reservation nasal and lateral projections.
the ZBD-04A has a two-man turret located at the front of the vehicle and has a 100 mm rifled gun capable of firing both standard ammunition and guided anti-tank shots of type 9M117. A 7.62 mm machine gun is also paired with the main gun.
