Additional Information
the Main purpose of the Japanese amphibious armoured vehicle Type 4 Ka-TSU was to transport cargo and / or troops to shore. Its engine compartment and electric final drives were hermetically sealed as it was intended to be launched from a submarine. The first prototype was completed in late 1943, and tests were conducted in Kura in March 1944. Tests were successfully carried out, but the war ended before the "Ka-TSU" turned in the battle.
