T-34-85 — designation of the last modification of the Soviet medium tank T-34. The installation of the 85-mm gun and design improvements significantly increased the combat effectiveness of the T-34-85 compared to the T-34. Adopted in 1944. After the war, the T-34-85 formed the basis of tank troops of the Soviet army before entering the tank troops of the Soviet Army of the latest medium tanks T-54. After the war, T-34-85 were supplied to the States of Europe and Asia. It was used during the Suez crisis, the Vietnam war, the Sino-Vietnamese war, the Bosnian war and others. It was in service with some countries until 2010.
