In June 1941, the Hungarian General staff raised the question of the modernization of the tank "Turan I"< / span>. First of all it was decided to strengthen his weapons with the 75-mm cannon 41.M long 25 gauge factory MAVAG. It was a converted field 76.5-mm gun company "Beler". It had a semi-automatic horizontal wedge gate. The tower under a new gun had to be redone, in particular, increasing the height by 45 mm. On the tank put the upgraded machine gun 34./40.The Body (all also assembled on rivets and bolts) and chassis remained unchanged except for a slightly modified shield above the driver's viewing slit. In connection with some increase in the weight of the car decreased its speed.
