Additional Information
Pz.kpfw VI Tiger II Ausf. B, also known as the "Royal tiger" was the most powerful tank of the Second world war. Until the end of the war, the allied forces could not imagine anything that could effectively deal with this tank. Tiger II combined a powerful gun and armor capable of withstanding the shot of any tank and anti-tank installation. Planning for the tank began in may 1941, a year into mass production did the Tiger I. By the fall of 1942/January 1943, designers started work on a new heavy tank able to replace the Tiger I. In January 1943 the high command ordered to arm jagdtiger with 88mm gun, set 150mm frontal armor and 80mm side.
