ZIS-151 multipurpose car produced at the Plant named after Stalin from 1947 to 1965 In 1956, the plant was renamed the "Plant named after Likhachev" and the new car was called ZIL-151. The ZiS-151 became the main all-wheel drive truck produced after the war, replacing the Studebaker US6 and the outdated ZIS-6. Tens of thousands of machines were produced, including versions with special housings for different types of loads. The new car is ideally suited for the installation of a multiple launch rocket system "Katyusha". In 1958 ZIL-151 was replaced by on ZIL-157.
