Renault R35 is a French light tank of world war II. Developed in 1933, began production in 1936. It was conceived as a light tank to support infantry to assist them in carrying out offensive operations. During the serial production in 1935 - 1940 1630 units were produced, which made it the most popular French tank of the interwar period. In the second half of world war II, about 800 tanks were transferred to the allies in Germany.
