Additional Information
the ACS-57 was a small, lightly constructed Soviet assault weapon specifically designed for use by Soviet airborne divisions. Since 1960, it has been replaced by the ACS-85. The ASU-57 was designed as a light assault pistol that could be thrown from the air and deployed by parachute with a rocket along with troops. It was lightly armored and armed with a 57mm CH-51 gun, a development of world war II ZIS-2, but with some similarities to the Ch-26. Since 1954, it was established an improved 57mm gun Ch-51M with a much shorter double-baffle.
