the BTR-152V with a system of pumping wheels was adopted by the Soviet Army in 1958. It was created on the basis of a cross-country car ZIL-157. Modification of the BTR-152K had a covered body. On the basis of the BTR-152V was built a number of special purpose vehicles - mobile command posts, ambulances, self-propelled anti-aircraft systems. BTR-152V and its variants were in service of the Soviet Army, the armies of the Warsaw Pact, the socialist countries. These machines were widely used during the Arab-Israeli wars, in Angola and in Vietnam.
