Additional Information
the < p>X was a class of two-axle high-floor trams that were built in the Soviet Union during the interwar period. The first copies were built in 1927 and delivered to Kharkiv, Ukraine. The first letter of the name of the city, was chosen as the designation of the entire series. After Kharkov, trams of this type were supplied to many Soviet cities and became the most numerous in the fleets of many municipalities. In 1941, after the start of operation Barbarossa, their production was halted to maximize the war effort. The X-class trams were finally withdrawn from city service in the mid-1960s, as they were already obsolete; their robust construction would have allowed them to be used much longer, but the tram systems preferred more modern, more advanced, new trams. A small number of surviving specimens have been preserved for Museum purposes in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov and some other cities.< / p>Caution! Glue and paints are not included.
