German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. IV, known in the USSR as T-4. The most massive German tank of world War II, was serially produced from 1937 to 1945, having passed several stages of deep modernization. Modification H certainly one of the most recognizable and interesting. Thanks to the characteristic screens installed on the sides and perimeter of the tower, the tank acquired a formidable appearance and was very often recognized by Soviet fighters as a heavier T-VI “Tiger”. The resemblance was so strong that long enough in the Soviet army, this car had the designation of “Tiger” type 4. On the Eastern front, these machines debuted during the operation "Citadel" (the battle of the "Kursk Bulge"), it should be noted that the effectiveness of these tanks was high enough, and they are not much inferior to the machines of the Soviet model, remaining a formidable enemy until the last days of the war. In General, the T-IV H can be called the top of the German medium tanks, and all subsequent modifications had basically one goal-to reduce the cost of production.
