the Land Rover began production in 1948. The machine was actively tested and was soon introduced to the British army as Series I. Series I and Series II (produced from 1958) were replaced by Series III built from 1971 to 1983. Land Rover was used by armies of many countries of the world where proved as the strong and reliable car. In addition to the short wheelbase (2235 mm) is available extended version of the car (wheelbase 2769 mm).
