the Successful and high-tech German Marder entered service in the early 1970s. It was developed according to the concept inherited from previous machines of its class, which meant the possibility of use in defensive and offensive combat operations. The corps provides infantry with reliable protection against small arms fire and radioactive fallout. Designed and constructed by Rheinstahl Henschel AG in Kassel, Germany, a factory known for its world war II Tigers. Marder's development dates back to the early 1960s, when the first prototype was built for testing. Despite the solid age for modern military equipment, Marder, thanks to constant improvements, is still in service with Germany, although it is gradually replaced by the PUMA IFV. Marder 1A2 – improved version with anti-tank missile system "Milan".
