Additional Information
Gepanzerte Selbsfahrlafette für 7,5 cm Sturmgeschütz 40 Ausführung F, also known as the Sturmgeschütz Ausf. F or just StuG Ausf. F-German self-propelled artillery unit (ACS) of the second World war. Originally intended as a means of supporting infantry, the StuK 40 L/43 long-barrelled 75 mm gun was used as a tank destroyer. This was facilitated by an acute shortage of tanks with weapons capable of resisting the Soviet t-34 and KV-1 tanks, as well as the exceptional characteristics of the vehicle itself for fighting enemy armored vehicles. The self-propelled gun had a very low silhouette, so it could be hidden almost everywhere, whether it was high grass, bushes, ruins of houses or the courtyard of a private house surrounded by a low fence. For this reason, often, the machine was used for shooting from ambushes, letting the enemy as close as possible and leading an incredibly accurate fire to defeat, leaving no chance of survival for Soviet tankers.Caution!
