Due to insufficient power of five-ton half-track Sd.Kfz. 6, Germany stopped production and began to install the 3.7 cm AA guns on the chassis of the Sd.Kfz. 7 creating semi-tracked self-propelled guns air defense "Sd.Kfz. 7/2". Originally mounted 3.7 cm Flak 36 but in the later stages of the war machines began to arm 3.7 cm Flak 37. A total of 123 Sd cards were released.Kfz. 7/2 which was used as air defense, and armed with 3.7 cm Stielgranate 41 could fight with enemy armored vehicles.
