Famous military miniature series Tamiya 1/35 welcomes the first in its ranks the first major us missile destroyer - M10. This versatile AFV was designed primarily to force the US to confront the German armor tactics that proved successful in the early stages of world war II. He used a successful Sherman M4A2 chassis with a diesel powertrain and mounted a 76.2 mm gun in a rotating turret with an open top; the Hull featured extensive use of inclined armor, remained thin to avoid interfering with maneuverability. Bosses were used on the turret and chassis, to facilitate the attachment of additional armor. Between September 1942 and December 1943, about 5,000 m10s were produced, and it was presented in action throughout North Africa and Western Europe, with its three-inch weapons and superior maneuverability, making it an advantage for allied forces.
