As part of its motorization from the years before world war II, the German military took over the SS-100 - a heavy tractor based on commercially developed agricultural machinery. It was a working platform with a pulling force of 20 tons thanks to a highly reliable 6-cylinder engine with water cooling. Deployed by the German army, Luftwaffe and Navy, the SS-100 towed all sorts of items: field guns, aircraft, fuel and water tanks, V2 missiles and even vehicles with disabilities, its versatility and reliability standing in a good place.
